These are two John Deere Drinking Tires. They were originally sold with a green straw as cups for your John Deere themed children's party. As you can see, the top twists off and also has a hole in it for your favorite green straw. These are neither made nor sold anymore.

This beautiful copper jewelry box was given out by the UV Mine in Jerome Arizona, to employees as tokens of appreciation for their hard work. The UV Mine closed in the early 1950's.

Charlie Ventura, Tenor Saxophonist, 1940's






Charlie Ventura was named "Best Tenor Sax" by the readers of Downbeat in 1945. He worked with Gene Krupa, Jack Teagarden, and a number of jazz greats. He died in 1992 in Pleasantville, New Jersey. This promo photo from the 1940's is signed by Mr Ventura himself.
