The Playgoer, Ivar Theatre, Los Angeles California, 3-12-1968

The is a copy of "The Playgoer" magazine for the Ivar Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This was the program from the opening night of the play "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown," on March 12, 1968, at the Ivar. As you can see Gary Burghoff, later of  MASH fame, starred as Charlie Brown. This was a role he had originated on Broadway, and he was great as Charlie Brown. I myself was lucky enough to play the role of Snoopy in a different production of this great play. If you ever get the chance to assume the role of a comic character I highly recommend that you do so.

PS: If you are reading this, and also read my kid brother's blog, do not let him know about this as I am trying to keep it a secret until Christmas. Thank you.

My Kid Brother

Snoopy's Authorized Biography

Snoopy's Authorized Bio, Part II
I have a great little brother who just recently celebrated another birthday. He is a great collector of Peanuts memorabilia. This authorized biography of Snoopy was written by Charles Schulz in 1975 for inclusion in the book, "The People's Almanac." Like Snoopy, the life of my little brother remains shrouded in mystery, but I do love him very much. This one is for you buddy, and please remember to refrain from calling me goodnight.

Here are some tiny Snoopy's. These are being presented in honor of a good friend who has always had my back, and who encouraged me to present some of this stuff. Thanks little brother.
