Alaska Airlines Promo Gold Ingot

In the 1980's to celebrate their new "Gold Coast" service Alaska Airlines gave away these 1 gram gold ingots of 24K gold. The more miles you flew the more gold you got.

Leo Seltzer was the genius who invented and patented the name "Roller Derby" all the way back in 1935. The Chicago Coliseum was ground zero for roller derby and its fans.

The Umbrellas, Japan & California, 1991

I bought this stuff 20 years ago from a girl in a full cheer leading outfit while standing on the side of I-5 in the shadow of  1,760 massive yellow umbrellas. She said she was from Bakersfield, so I told her to mention that sad fact before trying to move the swag, and she would get more sales. I figure you need to help out wherever and whenever you can.

A-Team Lunch Box with Thermos

This A-Team lunch box is made by Thermos and dates from 1983. It is unused. I pity the fool who did not have a little brother who carried his lunch to school in this thing for one day before it mysteriously disappeared!!!

Disneyland recently reopened their "Star Tours" attraction. This tote bag, baggage tag, and button were given to members of the media on 1-8-1987, as a preview of the attraction which originally opened on 1-9-1987.
